We are looking for a knowledgeable GIS Technician/Analyst to support our geospatial data processing and analysis needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of GIS concepts, statistics, and data management, as well as experience with GIS software and tools. This role will involve working closely with the Manager to ensure the accurate processing and interpretation of geospatial data.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform essential GIS tasks, including drawing, recording, and geospatial analysis using industry-standard GIS software.
• Operate GIS tools, processes, and functions with a strong understanding of parameters and outputs.
• Conduct georeferencing of spatial data to ensure accuracy and precision in mapping systems.
• Utilize statistical methods to make inferences from spatial data and present findings to the Director.
• Communicate regularly with the Manager to update on progress, clarify requirements, and align on project goals.
• Handle and record GPS data with a clear understanding of geospatial concepts and accuracy.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure no ownership of data is transferred or shared without authorization.
• Adhere strictly to project guidelines with no direct decision-making authority regarding client interactions.
• Capable of maintaining an organized work environment conducive of managing various file types of large sizes.
